Lack of Error Messaging
usabilityActiveStableThe absence of an error message for invalid paths results in increased memory consumption and crashes instead of providing immediate feedback.
Score Breakdown
Heuristic ranking from public discussion signals — not a validated prediction of commercial opportunity, demand, or willingness to pay.
Composite 61/100 (High, unvalidated). Top driver: Willingness to pay (30% weight, 22.5 pts).
Heuristic only — often urgency map or random scaffolding on ingest, not measured mention frequency. Maps to XPS relevance (with market size).
LLM/mock judgment of intensity from title/summary text — not ops or ticket data. Maps to XPS quality (with willingness to pay).
LLM/mock purchase-intent guess from text — not invoices, surveys, or paid seats. Maps to XPS quality.
Heuristic/scaffold (often random or fixed on insert) — not a verified mention trajectory. Maps to XPS novelty.
Heuristic/scaffold (often random or fixed) — not TAM research. Maps to XPS relevance (with frequency).
Catalog notes (not predictive analysis)
Lack of Error Messaging (usability). Catalog heuristic opportunity score: 61/100 — a chosen formula over discussion-signal facets, not evidence of demand, conversion, or willingness to pay. Treat as browsing rank, not a commercial prediction.

Source Examples
“Memory leak and crash in git bash if `--destination-path` is pefixed with a `/` for ` az storage file upload-batch` ### Describe the bug When passing a path with a prefixed `/` to the `--source` flag In **git bash** (Used in Azure pipelines on windows agent) `az storage file upload-batch` stalls and consumes more and more ram until it runs out and crashes. Screenshot from my machine after about 20 sek. of running: <img width="507" height="196" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/8488d71d-2d06-4ca7-ad58-33610818b2c7" /> This is the command that makes it crash: `az storage file upload-batch --destination "$FILE_SHARE_URL" --source '.\Add-AppDevPackage.resources'/ --destination-path "/some/path" --account-key "$ACCOUNT_KEY" --debug` This one works as expected: `az storage file upload-batch --destination "$FILE_SHARE_URL" --source '.\Add-AppDevPackage.resources'/ --destination-path "some/path" --account-key "$ACCOUNT_KEY" --debug` The subtle difference being that the second one does not have a `/` prefixed to `some/path`. I noticed in the debug output that git bash expanded `/some/path` into `C:/Program Files/Git/some/path`. This is probably out of scope for this repo, however, an error message about the path being invalid should be put in place instead of increasing memory consumption until it crashes. ### Related command az storage file upload-batch ### Errors From pipeline without debug flag: ``` ##[warning]Free memory is lower than 5%; Currently used: 95.90% ERROR: The command failed with an unexpected error.
